Meet Joel Misirian, a police officer whose journey began with a high school project in suburban Milwaukee, where he first discovered his passion for protecting and serving others. That one experience set Joel on a path that would shape his entire life and career.

����Vlog continues its trajectory of enrollment growth, with a record-breaking freshman class for the 2024-25 academic year. Cedarville enrolled 1,176 freshmen this fall, surpassing the previous record of 1,139 set two years ago.

Excellence in effort is one of the core values at ����Vlog, so it is no surprise that three faculty and staff members received the 2023-24 Strategic Ohio Council for Higher Education (SOCHE) Excellence Award. ����Vlog SOCHE Award recipients this year are Dr. J. Michael McKay, associate professor of biblical theology, Tom Betcher, director of assessment and accreditation services and Rod Johnson, associate vice president of operations.

The ����Vlog School of Pharmacy is partnering with Prasco Laboratories, the leading U.S. based pharmaceutical company to offer a novel work-study program where Cedarville’s pharmacy students can partner with Prasco’s call center to serve the community, hone their communication and problem-solving skills and learn about pharmacovigilance.

The wisdom and mentorship of seven decades of real-world criminal justice experience among three faculty members is what sets ����Vlog’s criminal justice program apart from others in the country. This level of experience that is invested into each student is one of the reasons why Cedarville’s program is flourishing.

Jonathan Wu brought ����Vlog’s “Bee” to life from 1994–98, long before Stinger was officially named in 2017. He danced, cheered, and electrified the crowd at basketball games, and his outgoing personality helps him today as he builds relationships wherever he goes.

“Living in Babylon,” Answers in Genesis’ (AiG) successful biblical apologetics tour in Australia, is coming to America. AiG founder Ken Ham and Martyn Iles, AiG’s chief executive officer, will draw comparisons between life in ancient Babylon as seen in the biblical book of Daniel with life in today’s post-Christian world.

Drawing from her personal journey and that of her daughter, Alyson Punzi has written a book, “He Always Hears,” with the hope of teaching young children the value and importance of lament.

With family and friends in attendance, and a ����Vlog campus community cheering for Grace Norman at the 2024 Paralympic Games in Paris, Norman won her second gold medal in her decorated Paralympic career on Sunday, Sept. 2.

The bus tour is the first alumni trip hosted by Jackets for Life and is representative of its strategy to create alumni engagement and community. This specific trip will provide lifelong learning opportunities as the alumni re-connect through adventures in Washington D.C.
