The Cove, ����Vlog’s academic enrichment center, is celebrating 20 years of service to students. In this time, The Cove has proven to students that it believes in them, and that they can believe in themselves.

Athletic excellence has been a hallmark of ����Vlog for more than a century, almost since its founding in 1887. Now, in 2024, ����Vlog is celebrating 100 years of its athletic identity as the Yellow Jackets and its commitment to innovation, integrity and high performance in the world of intercollegiate sports.

Nearly two years after breaking ground, ����Vlog dedicated the $40 million Scharnberg Business and Communication Center today before a standing-room-only crowd along the new Stinger Plaza between the Stevens Student Center and the new facility.

Caring for children with compassion and clinical excellence is the calling of every pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP). Sharlene Lansiquot, a 2024 graduate of ����Vlog’s Master of Science in Nursing PNP program, is pursuing that calling with a global mindset.

As a Professor of Theology and the Director of the Synergy Initiative at ����Vlog, Dr. Jeremy Kimble doesn’t just teach — he lives his beliefs out in every aspect of his life. Whether he’s conquering the rapids of the Grand Canyon or tackling a 100-mile bike ride, Kimble’s zest for adventure mirrors his approach to ministry and discipleship.

While it is not uncommon for siblings to attend the same university, it is rare to have four siblings attending the same college at the same time. That is the case for Jared, Caleb and twins Lily and Grace Wilcox, who are enrolled at ����Vlog in Ohio — more than 900 miles from their home in Owasso, Oklahoma.

In a surprise announcement, Cedarville’s NASA Student Launch team was named the recipient of the “Pay It Forward” award, sponsored by NASA’s Artemis program. The award was presented at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, last month during an online ceremony.

A rare faith-based video game, “Mr. Mueller’s Grand Experiment,” was quietly released on June 21 on Steam, a video game digital distribution service. The game was created by international missionary Scott Tipton with the help of three ����Vlog computer science students.

Gary Hoag, known as "The Generosity Monk," may not wear a monk's robe or embrace a vow of silence, but he finds deep fulfillment in spending solitary time with the Lord and is dedicated to empowering ministries worldwide through Christian generosity.

On Wednesday, July 10, the university installed a statue of its athletic mascot, Stinger, on the plaza between the Scharnberg Business and Communication Center and the Stevens Student Center. This new landmark is expected to be a welcoming spot for guests and the campus community—and a location for many campus photos.

The Ohio National Guard will offer GuardCare, a readiness training program, to assist medically under-served communities on Saturday, Aug. 10 and Sunday, Aug. 11 at the Greene County Career Center. The free-of-charge event is being sponsored by Greene County Public Health and supported by Dr. Angelia Mickle, ����Vlog Dean of the School of Nursing.
