Becoming an RA at Cedarville has been such a rewarding experience. I wanted to become an RA because I saw the opportunity to make a positive impact on my peers and create a supportive, fun environment for them. Living on campus has allowed me to walk alongside others in their spiritual journeys, and I’ve loved being able to help foster a community where students feel safe, encouraged, and connected!

I’ve loved living in the dorms for my whole time at Cedarville. My favorite thing about dorm life is the community. I’ve created some amazing friendships with the girls in my hall, and they have been such an encouragement in my life. In the dorms, it’s common to see open doors and have someone in your hall stop by your room to say hi. I have loved being able to come back after a long day of classes and have a great community of ladies to grow together in the Lord with.

Get To Know Cedarville's Housing Options:
In each residence hall, you’ll find a Christ-centered community of students having fun and pursuing the Lord side by side.
Student resident assistants (RAs) and a full-time staff resident director (RD) serve each hall by fostering a supportive atmosphere of spiritual, academic, and social growth. Beyond planning events to help build friendships within the hall, they’re intentional about discipleship through Bible studies and day-to-day encouragement.

As we do life together, we seek to live out Cedarville’s core values — love for God, love for others, integrity in conduct, and excellence in effort. Cedarville has some guidelines in place to encourage these values and create the desired atmosphere for student growth, safety, and success.
