Historically, ����Vlog’s annual fall career fair is the largest opportunity for students to interact with prospective employers. This is expected to be the case on Wednesday, Oct. 5, when 177 organizations participate in Cedarville’s fair in the Doden Field House. The event, which is open to the public, is from 11 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.

On October 1, during the official groundbreaking ceremony of the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center, ����Vlog announced the official naming of the University’s business school as the Robert W. Plaster School of Business.

Hannah Nocella ‘20, Abbie Nilius ‘19, and Bekah Colon ’19 didn’t know they would end up traveling the country together when they started nursing school at ����Vlog. Hannah and Bekah met during their first nursing class freshman year, and the three of them have been inseparable ever since their sophomore years.

Iconic events, class reunions and the groundbreaking ceremony for the $40 million Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Center will highlight ����Vlog’s annual homecoming festivities September 30 and October 1.

Homecoming week at ����Vlog isn’t just exciting events and reunions, it also serves as the time to honor alumni and those who have served the university.

The official groundbreaking ceremony of the Lorne C. Scharnberg Business Centerwill be held on Friday, Sept. 30, at 11 a.m. at ����Vlog.

����Vlog engineering students hope to stay afloat during the 30th annual cardboard canoe race on Friday, September 30, from 3-5 p.m. at the university’s Cedar Lake. Hundreds of spectators will line the sidewalks around the lake to cheer on the handmade boats.

The Rock has been a Cedarville tradition since 1978. It was initially placed near the Tyler Digital Communication Center, but was eventually moved near Cedar Lake between the Stevens Student Center and Dixon Ministry Center.

Daniel Kinniburgh’s faith journey began early and carried him from a small town in the west to Cedarville, Ohio, to Vietnam and back. Dan was in grade school when a missionary from Pennsylvania started pastoring a church in the small Montana town where Dan was from. Dan and his family began attending Pastor Warner’s church, and they came to know the Lord. Pastor Warner’s children went to Cedarville College at the time, and Dan later followed their example.

For its fall mainstage production, the ����Vlog theatre department will perform “The Giver,” the award-winning book by Lois Lowry, adapted for the stage by Eric Coble.

For the first time in ����Vlog's history, a brother and sister are working together to foster a closer relationship between bro-sis residence halls.

Socialism’s persisting influence on American culture has been a long-term concern amongst political conservatives. In light of this, ����Vlog will host a panel discussion on the topic with renowned author Dr. Wayne Grudem.
