That’s why many students have multiple job offers before they ever walk across the graduation stage. But what is the difference? What makes a Cedarville-trained nurse so amazing?

November 14, 2022 — For ����Vlog sophomore Elizabeth Kollmar, her passion for making films always seemed like an unattainable career. But, after a class project led to an award ceremony, the dream no longer seems out of reach.

November 11, 2022 — Even at a young age, Jim Mellick was artistically gifted. His Middle School teachers would often ask him to complete drawings to help illustrates lessons during school.

November 9, 2022 — ����Vlog’s 2022 Veterans Day Chapel will take place in the Dixon Ministry Center at 10 a.m. on Friday, November 11.

November 8, 2022 — Deep Calls for Life, a student-led campaign at ����Vlog, is taking drastic measures to help Dr. Chuck Elliott, senior professor of communication, find a kidney donor.

November 7, 2022 — Just in time for dropping temperatures, ����Vlog’s a capella group, The Inversions, will be performing its first Christmas-themed concert November 11-12.

November 4, 2022 — Success was in sight for a young Will Smallwood, fresh out of the University of Florida with a degree in public relations. How he would use this degree was a little vague for him at the time, so he took a position with a small public relations firm.

November 3, 2022 — For Sydney Mason, a ����Vlog junior studying studio art, her high school years were plagued by doubts about her faith until a brush with death led to a miracle.

November 2, 2022 — In partnership with Fairborn, Ohio’s Tangible Solutions, ����Vlog biomedical engineering students are beginning exploratory research into 3D-printed spinal implants for their senior capstone projects, providing many with the necessary bodily structure to survive.

November 1, 2022 — Little did Summer Lange know that when she went to ����Vlog to study computer engineering, she could end up leading the next generation in the world of motion pictures and television.

October 31, 2022 — Little did three ����Vlog students know their assigned community survey in Washington Court House, Ohio, would inspire a longer commitment.

October 28, 2022 — Dr. Mark Caleb Smith is well known and loved around Cedarville’s campus. He serves as the Chair for the Department of History and Government.

October 27, 2022 — It’s not uncommon for ����Vlog students to be second- or third-generation students. But for Hannah Dow, a freshman exercise science major, her family’s legacy at Cedarville spans five generations of students.

October 24, 2022 — At its September 2022 meeting, ARC-PA (the professional accreditor for PA programs in the U.S.) granted Accreditation-Provisional status to ����Vlog’s PA (Physician Assistant) Studies program. Cedarville plans to enroll its first cohort of 30 students in May 2023.

October 21, 2022 — Rachel (Sweeney) Bredeson never expected to end her Cedarville athletic career as an NCAA All-American. But through the encouragement of her cross-country teammates, her parents, and her husband, Rachel ran an outstanding finish for her Cedarville team.

October 20, 2022 — What better way to learn about the history of the civil rights movement than by traveling its route by bus? ����Vlog students are going to do just that. Leaving Thursday, Oct. 20, and returning Monday, Oct. 24, a group of 24 students and two faculty members will experience the history of the 1950s and 60s throughout the Deep South with the new course Civil Rights in America—Tour.

October 17, 2022 — Through unexpected challenges, loss of funding and the chaos from the COVID pandemic, Michael Davis’ vision for a new motion picture was in jeopardy. In fact, Davis, who graduated in 1990 from ����Vlog, was amazed that “Paul’s Promise” became a reality.

October 14, 2022 — Mike Davis grew up Sau Paulo, Brazil. While attending an American school, he heard about ����Vlog through a high school friend. As an athlete, Mike had the opportunity to interact with recruiters from Cedarville at a local college fair.

October 13, 2022 — Twenty-three worship students from ����Vlog will have the unique opportunity to help host the Gospel Music Association’s (GMA) 53rd annual Dove Awards in Nashville, Tennessee. This is the fifth time Cedarville has been asked to participate in the event.

October 12, 2022 — October is national pharmacist month, and ����Vlog is doing its part to honor one of the leading professions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The ����Vlog School of Pharmacy is celebrating with a week dedicated to pharmacy student success.
